Eagle Pottery

The bottle appealed to me as it was for storing polish for a stove, at first glance I thought it was for alcohol, just a reminder to me that some of the pottery production was more practical than ‘pretty’ decorative pieces.
I was also intrigued by the Eagle motif. The bottle was produced in the Eagle Pottery in Bridgeton which was established in 1869.
