Community Scales for Bella

Community Scales for Bella the Beithir
The Brief
To build relationships with local communities through making scales for Bella and learning about Glasgow's ceramic history and heritage
What we did
We successfully applied for funding to make scales for Bella the Beithir with local community groups. This allowed us to reach out to multiple and varied groups across northwest Glasgow, and beyond, including Springburn Academy ESOL Group, Chest Heart and Stoke, Restart Project Hathaway Lane, Clevedon Academy ASN, Garnethill Multicultural Centre, Barmulloch Community Development Company and Queens Cross Housing Crafternoon group amongst many more. The scales made will begin to be installed on Bella when the weather warms up enough.
